Rug Care Instructions

• Do not use chemical detergents or chlorine, as they can affect colourfastness. Use a rug-specific shampoo foam instead.
• Clean the rug with a soft brush, following the direction of the pile to protect the yarn quality.
• Vacuum the rug regularly.
• Keep the rug out of prolonged direct sunlight, which can cause yellowing and fading.
• If liquid is spilled on the rug, blot it promptly with an absorbent cloth to prevent a permanent stain.
• Do not press or rub a spill stain, as this can make it worse.
• Rugs made from wool or acrylic fibres may shed a small amount of loose fibre at first. This reduces with regular cleaning and does not affect quality.
• Cotton rugs, made with natural yarn, may shrink slightly in width.
• When storing a rug, roll it up and keep it in a dry place away from moisture.
